Genealogists to Gather for Statewide Event 6 April 2006 Discovering your family history? Then the Ohio Genealogical Society (OGS) invites you to attend its annual conference, "Planting the Seed: Tools for Growing Your Family Tree" April 27-29, 2006, at the Seagate Convention Centre, Toledo, Ohio. This three-day event will offer family history researchers over 60 diverse sessions, including online genealogy and African-American, Croatian, Polish, and German research techniques, from some of the top genealogical lecturers in the country. Genealogical exhibitors will also be on hand, displaying the latest in genealogical merchandise and Ohio county information. OGS is the largest state genealogical society in America, committed to meeting the educational needs of its members and the general public through the acquisition, preservation and dissemination of genealogical and historical information. The society is currently raising funds for a state-of-the-art library and headquarters in order to make available the finest collection of Ohio-related genealogical and historical materials to researchers worldwide.
