Ohio Genealogical Society Lending Library

The OGS Lending Library is available to OGS members and has more than 2,500 titles.

• Cost is $3.00 per order. Add $5.00 for shipping if the books are to be mailed rather than picked up at the OGS Library.
• You may loan out two titles per order.
• The loan period is three weeks from arrival.
• Using "Library Rate" postage to return books is the cheapest method.
• Click here for the printable order form. Many find it easier to print the order form before searching the catalog.

The OGS Lending Library catalog is now part of the OGS online catalog.

To determine if a title is available through the Lending Library, conduct your search in the catalog as you normally would. When you see a title of interest, click on the "Details" link.

The Details page gives you the full catalog entry for that title. Look in the "Location" field. If it says "Ohio Genealogical Society Lending Library," it is part of the Lending Library collection.
