Biography: Deborah A. Carder Mayes is a professional Genealogist. She has been doing genealogical research and has been actively involved in the genealogical community for over 15 Years. She frequently speaks and presents work shops, including the 2012 OGS Conference and teaching genealogy classes at OSU-Lima. She primarily researches in West Central Ohio and The Miami Valley. She writes a log. monthly columns for two online genealogy magazines, and the editor of the Allen County Chapter's newsletter. Current vice-president , Allen County Chapter. Member of APG, OGÍ, NGS, GSG, ISFHWE, First Families and Civil War Families of Ohio and numerous other genealogical and lineage societies.
